Still Here. Still Formulating. Still Beautifully Authentic.
This time of year invites reflection — and if I’m being honest, 2025 has asked a lot.
It’s been a year of uncertainty, rising costs, exhaustion, and moments where I genuinely wondered whether continuing Beautifully Authentic was sustainable. There were times I thought about walking away — not because the vision wasn’t strong, but because running a values-led, small-batch, truly natural brand in a world of shortcuts is hard.
And yet… here we are.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve watched Beautifully Authentic show up in ways that reminded me why it exists at all. Two incredibly successful markets. Conversations with customers who get it. And our 100% natural shampoo bar for sensitive scalpsr — Sacred Crown Shampoo Bar — that sold down to just one bar left in 3 weeks from its very first batch.
That doesn’t happen by accident.
Changing the narrative of “clean beauty”
This year, I introduced new products that don’t follow trends — they challenge them.
No greenwashing.
No diluted formulas.
No “natural-ish” compromises.
Instead, you’ve seen:
- 100% natural, palm-free, sensitive-skin-safe haircare
- Waterless, concentrated formulations that actually do something
- Ingredients chosen for skin and scalp repair — not marketing buzzwords
- Products that respect both your body and the planet
Beautifully Authentic exists because “clean beauty” has become a hollow term. Too many brands promise gentle care while quietly relying on irritants, fillers, or synthetics that sensitive skin and scalps simply can’t tolerate.
We’re here to do it properly — even when it’s harder.
Why I didn’t throw in the towel
What stopped me from walking away wasn’t sales numbers or algorithms.
It was you.
The customers who come back.
The messages saying, “This is the first thing my skin can tolerate.”
The parents buying for children with eczema.
The people who trust these products as part of their healing journey.
Beautifully Authentic isn’t just skincare and haircare — it’s support. And I realised that stepping away wouldn’t just affect me. It would let down a community that relies on these formulations.
So I’m staying. I’m formulating. I’m listening. And I’m continuing to build products that honour real skin, real hair, and real people.
A small ask that makes a big difference
If Beautifully Authentic has helped you this year, I’d love your help in return.
- Leave a review on beautifullyauthentic.com.au
- Share your experience with friends or family
- Tell someone who’s struggling with their skin or scalp that there is another way
As a small business, your words carry more weight than any ad ever could.
Thank you — truly
To every customer, supporter, message sender, and market visitor — thank you. You are the reason Beautifully Authentic is still here, still growing, and still creating.
I wish you a restorative break over the holidays. Stay sun-safe, stay grounded, and remember:
Your true beauty is being beautifully authentic — just as you are.
With gratitude,
Nicola
